Naomi Maurer,
Naomi Maurer,
is an RN and college professor with an extensive business background and a
Master’s Degree in Organizational Management.
She founded the Corypheus (Kor-ee-fee-us)
Institute in 2003 as a means to promote leadership and professional development
of all kinds.
Naomi and her husband, Jim, moved
to Mobile in April 2005, restored a Victorian house built in 1899 and opened MY
Victorian Bed & Breakfast located on Church Street downtown. She states, “I
really enjoy taking care of people, and I’ve learned it’s a lot more fun when
they’re not sick!”
She is also the Chair for the
March of Dimes Board of Directors – Southwest Chapter and on the Advisory
Counsel for the Women’s Business Center and in her Provisional Year as a new
Junior League member.
In her ‘spare time’, for the last
two years, Naomi has amassed over 500 vintage wedding gowns and has recently
opened Victorian Lace – Timeless Bridal Wear, also downtown.
